How to install your eSIM

Every VelioSIM order includes both methods: a QR code and manual activation details. Use whichever your device makes easier.

QR installation

  1. 1Open your order page on a second screen, or print the QR code.
  2. 2On your phone, open the mobile or cellular settings and choose to add a plan.
  3. 3Choose the option to scan a QR code and point the camera at it.
  4. 4Confirm the plan when the phone asks, and give it a label such as “Travel”.
  5. 5Leave the profile switched off until you reach your destination, unless your plan says otherwise.

Manual installation

Use this when you cannot scan the QR code — for example when your order is open on the same phone.

  1. 1Open the mobile or cellular settings and choose to add a plan.
  2. 2Choose to enter the details manually.
  3. 3Enter the SM-DP+ address from your order.
  4. 4Enter the activation code, and the confirmation code if one is shown.
  5. 5Confirm and label the plan.
  • Install the profile while you have a stable internet connection — usually at home, before you travel.
  • A profile can normally be installed once. Do not delete it from the device unless support asks you to.
  • Switching the profile on does not always start your plan: check the activation policy shown on your order.
