Install an eSIM on Samsung Galaxy

Galaxy S20 and later, Note 20 and the Z Fold and Z Flip series generally support eSIM. Some regional variants do not.

QR installation

  1. 1Open Settings → Connections → SIM manager.
  2. 2Tap Add eSIM, then Scan QR code from service provider.
  3. 3Scan the QR code from your order page.
  4. 4Tap Add, then confirm and name the profile.

Manual installation

Use this when you cannot scan the QR code — for example when your order is open on the same phone.

  1. 1Open Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM.
  2. 2Tap Enter activation code.
  3. 3Enter the activation code and, if requested, the SM-DP+ address from your order.
  • Install the profile while you have a stable internet connection — usually at home, before you travel.
  • A profile can normally be installed once. Do not delete it from the device unless support asks you to.
  • Switching the profile on does not always start your plan: check the activation policy shown on your order.
  • In SIM manager, set the travel profile as your mobile data line.
