Privacy Policy
What personal data we collect, why we use it and what rights you have.
Version 1 · effective 2026-09-05
1. Controller
The controller of your personal data is Noel Fay Telecom Services, 1 Beaverstown Orchard, Ballisk Common, Donabate, Co. Dublin, K36 AE71, Ireland, trading as VelioSIM. Telephone: +353 87 286 5648.
This policy explains what we collect when you use veliosim.tech, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Information we collect
Order information
When you place an order we collect your first name, last name, email address and phone number, together with the plans you selected, the amount, the currency and the status of the order.
Payment information
Card details are entered on the payment provider's own page. VelioSIM never receives, sees or stores your card number, expiry date or security code. We store the amount, the currency, the status of each payment attempt and the identifier of the attempt.
Support messages
If you write to us through the chat, the contact form or by email, we keep the conversation and any order details you mention so that we can help you and keep a record of what was agreed.
Device and log data
Our servers record technical information needed to run and protect the site, such as the time of a request, the page requested and an abbreviated or hashed form of your IP address used for rate limiting. We do not write customer names, email addresses or phone numbers into ordinary application logs.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to run the store, keep your basket and protect the checkout. Analytics, marketing and preference cookies are used only if you consent. See our Cookie Policy.
3. Why we use your data and our legal bases
- To perform our contract with you — creating your order, delivering eSIM details, giving access to your order page, and providing support about it.
- To comply with legal obligations — keeping accounting and tax records of sales.
- For our legitimate interests — preventing fraud and abuse, keeping the site secure, and improving the service. We balance these interests against your rights.
- With your consent — optional analytics and marketing cookies, and marketing email if you asked for it. You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. Who we share data with
- The payment provider, which processes your payment on its own page. To display the payment form it receives your name, email address and phone number, together with the order reference and the amount.
- The eSIM provider, which issues the profile for the destination you bought.
- Our email provider, which delivers order and support email.
- Our hosting provider, which runs the servers and database for veliosim.tech.
- Authorities or advisers where the law requires it.
We do not sell personal data.
5. International transfers
Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, that transfer is covered by an adequacy decision or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, with additional safeguards where they are needed.
6. How long we keep data
- Order and payment records: for the period required by Irish accounting and tax law.
- Support conversations: up to 24 months after the conversation is closed.
- Cookie consent records: up to 24 months, so that we can show that consent was given.
- Technical logs: a short retention period, normally measured in weeks.
7. Security
Access to customer data is restricted to accounts that need it, and administrator actions on orders and pricing are recorded in an audit log. Passwords for staff accounts are stored only as strong hashes. Traffic to veliosim.tech is encrypted in transit.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have data erased, where the law allows;
- restrict processing;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
To exercise a right, contact us using the details on the contact page. We may need to confirm your identity before we act, for example by asking for the order code linked to the email address concerned.
9. Complaints
If you believe we have handled your data incorrectly, please tell us first so that we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission, or to the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version and its date are shown on this page. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will make that clear on the site.
