QR installation
- 1Open Settings → Network & internet.
- 2Tap SIMs, then the option to add a SIM or download a SIM instead.
- 3Choose to scan a QR code and point the camera at the code from your order.
- 4Confirm the download and name the profile.
Install an eSIM on Android
Menu names differ between manufacturers and Android versions. The steps below describe stock Android; Samsung and Pixel have their own guides.
Manual installation
Use this when you cannot scan the QR code — for example when your order is open on the same phone.
- 1Open Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Download a SIM instead.
- 2Choose to enter details manually, if your phone offers it.
- 3Enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code from your order.
- Install the profile while you have a stable internet connection — usually at home, before you travel.
- A profile can normally be installed once. Do not delete it from the device unless support asks you to.
- Switching the profile on does not always start your plan: check the activation policy shown on your order.
- Enable roaming for the travel profile in the SIM settings once you arrive.
